Nokia N96 and Samsung I900 Omnia both are high end 3G smartphones with mind blowing features and design. Though these mobile phones have been fitted with completely different operating system and there is a huge difference in shape and design but still there are various similarities.

The former one is outstanding dual slide opening 3G smartphone running over Symbian operating system with 2.8 inches QVGA LCD screen offering 16 million colours at resolution of 240 by 320 pixels. By using these smartphones you can access high-speed Internet with WAP 2.0 browser which supports xHTML and HTML as well as both of these support RSS Feeds. But Nokia also has Nokia Web Browser with Mini Maps.
Nokia N96’s music player supports MP3, AAC, eAAC+ & WMA formats and its music features include Album Art, Playlist, Sound Equaliser, Voice Commands. Its video player supports WMV, RV, MP4, 3GP files. MP3, WMA, OGG, AMR, AAC & AAC+ music files and MP4, WMV, XviD & DivX video files are acceptable through Samsung I900 Omnia’s music player and video player.
Stereo FM Radio with RDS is a common feature of these contenders but Nokia’s phone has something extra in this regard like Visual Radio, Nokia Internet Radio.
GPS Navigation with A-GPS support can be seen on both these widgets but in Nokia N96 users will find it with 150 Countries Maps and Nokia Maps Application. Furthermore, Nokia’s phone has Document viewer and Samsung’s one carries Pocket Office feature for fulfilling documental related tasks.
