Best Apple Watch deals: Save on the Series 8, Ultra, and more

UPDATE: Feb. 22, 2023, 5:00 a.m. EST We’ve updated this post to reflect the most recent pricing and availability on Apple Watches.

It’s been over seven years since the first generation Apple Watch began to grace people’s wrists. In that time, the Apple wearable has evolved in size and power, and naturally, because it’s Apple, price. If you’re into the idea of having a fitness tracker, an extension of your phone, and all the world’s conveniences (or, at least a few more than you’re used to) wrapped around your wrist, but aren’t into shelling out the max amount of cash, you’ve come to the right place. Every week, we’ll keep a watch out (too much?) and update this post with the best Apple Watch deals from across the internet.

Apple Watch Series 8 deals

Why we like it

To be blunt, this isn’t the best week to grab a Series 8. However, if you’re looking to pick up Apple’s latest smartwatch asap, this $10 discount is the lowest price you can grab it brand new. If you’re willing to wait, we’re betting it won’t take too long to return to the $50-plus markdowns we’ve seen in the past few weeks.

Apple Watch Series 7 deals

Why we like it

When Series 8 watches are on sale, $325 for a Series 7 isn’t all that notable. But on weeks like this one, when a Series 8 will run you nearly $400, the Series 7 provides a pretty similar experience (minus a lack of crash detection and fertility tracking) for a much more affordable price point.

Apple Watch SE deals

Why we like it

After a whirlwind few weeks of Apple Watch sales, the second generation SE is either back up to full price or completely sold out. Still, there’s a worthy budget pick out there in the form of the first-generation SE. You won’t get the upgraded S8 chip, crash detection, or fitness features like a blood oxygen sensor, but you will get the basic features like a heart sensor, Apple Pay connectivity, and up to 18 hours of battery life.

Apple Watch Ultra deals

Why we like it

We wouldn’t recommend this watch for everyone, but if you’re looking for a watch for the hardcore outdoor adventurer in your life, the Ultra is it. Its hefty price tag reflects an array of top-of-the-line features, including the largest watch face Apple’s ever made, built-in cellular, 36 hours of battery life, a titanium case, 100m water resistance, and a host of advanced fitness metrics. At $780, this watch is a good $50 from its best price ever, but still a decent chunk cheaper than full price.
